About Citadel Research
Citadel Research is built around transparency, documentation, and consistency.
We believe researchers should be able to see clear information about the materials they purchase, including the documentation associated with the specific batch they receive. That principle shapes how we select suppliers, evaluate batches, manage our catalog, and communicate with customers.
Our batch standard
For research materials requiring analytical documentation, every batch listed by Citadel Research must be supported by third-party laboratory documentation reporting purity of 98% or higher before it is offered for sale.
Before a batch enters our catalog, we review the available testing documentation associated with that specific lot.
Depending on the testing performed, documentation may include:
- batch or lot identification
- reported purity results
- HPLC analysis
- mass-spectrometry identity testing
- analytical methodology
- laboratory reports and certificates
- QR-linked batch documentation
Testing information displayed through Citadel is tied to the specific batch it represents. We do not apply one batch's testing results to another batch.
Research materials requiring analytical documentation must have a published qualifying COA before sale. Documentation for other research supplies is provided where applicable.
Selective sourcing
We don't try to carry materials from every manufacturer available.
Citadel works with a focused group of suppliers that we have evaluated based on their track record, consistency, documentation practices, and our experience working with them.
Before materials from a batch are offered through Citadel, the associated third-party testing documentation is reviewed against our catalog standards.
If a batch does not meet those standards, it does not get listed.
Batch-level transparency
Traceability matters to us.
Products are connected to their individual lot or batch information so the supporting documentation can remain associated with the material it represents.
Where applicable, customers can review information such as the batch identifier, reported purity, testing method, laboratory documentation, and accompanying QR information associated with their lot.
Certificates and batch documentation are maintained so that the information connected to a material remains available rather than disappearing once a batch sells out.
Why Citadel
We focus on doing a few things well:
- Documented research materials.
- Only batches meeting our documentation standard are offered through the catalog.
- Clear product information.
- Strength, availability, batch information, and relevant documentation are presented as plainly as possible.
- Selective sourcing.
- We work with a limited group of manufacturers and suppliers rather than continually sourcing from unknown or unproven vendors.
- Reliable support.
- Questions about an order or its documentation can be sent to our support mailbox.
- Transparent communication.
- If inventory is unavailable, a batch is delayed, or something changes with an order, we aim to communicate that clearly.
Straightforward from order to documentation
We want the entire experience to be simple.
Customers should be able to understand what is available, select the material and strength they need, review relevant batch information, place an order, and follow its status without unnecessary complexity.
The same approach applies behind the scenes. Inventory is tracked by specific product, strength, and lot so that documentation and fulfillment records remain connected to the appropriate material.
Customer support
Questions about an order, documentation, availability, or fulfillment can be directed to Citadel Research support.
We aim to provide clear updates when an issue requires additional time to resolve.
Research use only
Citadel Research supplies materials intended solely for legitimate research purposes.
Products are not offered for human or veterinary use and are not marketed with instructions or claims relating to diagnosis, treatment, prevention, therapeutic use, administration, dosing, or other human-use applications.
