Research Use Terms

1. Who we are

These Research Use Terms are between you and Citadel Research LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company ("Citadel Research", "we", "us"), and apply to your use of citadelresearchlabs.com and to any order you place through it.

2. Research use only

All materials offered by Citadel Research are sold solely for laboratory and research purposes. They are not drugs, food, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and they are not for human or veterinary use of any kind.

Nothing on this website is medical, therapeutic, or usage advice. We do not provide, and will not respond to requests for, information about human or animal use.

3. Eligibility

Citadel Research sells only to purchasers who are at least 21 years of age. This is Citadel Research's own policy. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are acquiring materials for legitimate laboratory research purposes.

4. Purchaser responsibilities

You are responsible for handling, storing, and disposing of materials in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional requirements, and for ensuring that purchase and possession are lawful where you are located.

We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we believe the terms of research use may not be observed. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund the payment.

5. Product information and documentation

Product names reflect supplier labeling and supplier documentation. Where lot documentation is available it is shown on the batch documentation pages exactly as received; where it has not been added, the page says so. We do not make representations beyond the documentation provided.

6. Orders and acceptance

When you submit an order we reserve the materials for 30 minutes so you can pay. Submitting an order does not by itself create a confirmed sale: your order is accepted for fulfillment only after we verify your payment. An unpaid order expires at the end of the reservation period and the materials are released. If your payment reaches us after the reservation has expired, we will either fulfill the order if the materials are still available or refund the payment.

Prices, availability and quantities are shown on the website and confirmed when you place the order. If a price or quantity is shown in error, we may correct or cancel the order and will refund any payment received.

7. Payment

Orders are paid by Zelle (Zelle Business). After you place an order, your private order page shows the exact total, the Zelle recipient, and a payment reference to include in the Zelle memo. Pay the exact total, and send payment only to the recipient shown on your order page.

We verify receipt manually. Your order remains "awaiting payment" until we have verified your payment, and sending a payment does not itself change the order status. Zelle transfers are generally not reversible once sent, so check the recipient and amount before you send.

Citadel Research does not receive or store your bank login, card number, or bank-account credentials. We keep the order total, the payment reference, and the confirmation reference we record when we verify your payment.

8. Shipping

Shipping is available within the United States only, by carrier, to the address you enter at checkout. Standard shipping within the United States is $10.00 on orders with a merchandise subtotal under $150.00, and free at $150.00 or above or to ZIP code 29526.

We do not promise a specific processing time. We will ship as soon as we can after payment is verified, and we will contact you if we expect a delay.

When your order ships we record the carrier and tracking number and show them on your order page. If a shipment is lost or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number so we can look into it.

9. Cancellations, delays and refunds

You can cancel an unpaid order from your private order page. After payment, you can request cancellation or a refund from the same page until fulfillment has begun. A request is not an approval; each request is reviewed individually, and nothing is refunded until we confirm it.

10. Your order link

Your order page is protected by a private link. Anyone who has the link can view the order, so keep it private. You can also find your order by entering your order number and the email address used at checkout.

11. Using this website

Use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with it, probe or bypass its security, scrape it in bulk, or use automated means to place orders.

12. Intellectual property

The website's text, design, logos and compiled documentation pages belong to Citadel Research LLC or its licensors. Supplier documents are shown as provided by the supplier. You may view the website for your own research purchasing; no other license is granted.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it. It is part of how you agree to use the website.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The version (and its exact text) in effect when you place an order is recorded with that order. Changes do not alter an order you have already placed.

15. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
